The Taps - Our amazing local, the ‘hearbeat of Lytham’, always busy always worth a visit. An un-spoiled pub, the likes of which it is rare still to find. Serves 8 real ales at any one time, and there is always something new to try. Decent wine by the glass for the non beer drinkers.

Portofino - Busy, buzzy Medditeranean restaurant, specialising in fresh fish, pizza and pasta. Many other favourites on the menu as well. 01253 795890. Linked to Mojito’s Wine cocktail and  Tasty Tapas.

Henry’s Bar and Grill - Great steaks and burgers, as well as fresh fish and salads, booking essential Friday and Saturday nights. Try the wine and cocktail bar upstairs for a drink before or after. 01253 737111.

The Hastings - Fine quality dining; gastro-pub type food in a contempory restaurant environment. Serves food all day (if you can manage lunch after your amazing breakfast!) Booking essential at weekends. 01253 732400.

Bosco - We are so lucky to have this small busy pizza, pasta and rissoto resaurant. Everyone I recommend loves it, pizzas cooked in a wood burning pizza oven, so thin and crispy, amazing;  jazz on a Tuesday night, you must book or you will be disappointed! 01253 733799.

Diya - (pronounced ‘deeya’, do not be put off by the name!) Our favourite Indian restaurant, lots of interesting dishes to choose from, many of which you do not see on other menu’s. 01253 731133.

The Mandarin - Sophisticated Chinese restaurant, lovely fresh ingredients combined with a beautiful setting indicative of a 1960’s Shanghai tea rooms. This is a family run business, the daddy of which is still popular based in Blackpool opened in 1961! 01253 737168.

Siam Thai - Located in a beautiful converted building, an elegant Thai Restaurant with friendy staff and very tasty food. 01253 283025.

Zest - Great for a bite to eat or a drink, open all day, 7 days a week, and always busy, especially the outside tables when the weather is nice. If you can’t manage lunch after you award winning breakfast, Zest do lovely cakes a coffee. No booking, but be prepared to wait!
